The Workshop
At Andrews Paint Stripping Ltd, doors, furniture, fireplaces etc are stripped in a caustic solution. The residue is then removed by pressure
washing. The items are left to dry slowly and naturally to avoid shrinking, then placed into a dehumidified storage area until the drying
process is completed.
Next, any repairs can be undertaken (at an extra charge). Holes or damaged areas can be replaced with matching wood, and the piece is
then sanded ready to receive the finish which is either Wax or Danish Oil as preferred.
